Muweti forms part of the Balule Nature Reserve, approximately 55000ha of African bushveld, and part of the world renowned Greater Kruger National Park. With no fences between the Kruger Park proper and its neighbours, MUWETI is home to a range of wildlife, including the big 5. Whilst we are not obsessed with big 5, close encounters of the natural kind are experienced with some of these magnificent species on a regular basis. We strive to give our guests the fullest bush experience in all its facets. In our view there is not much to compare with the experience of viewing wildlife, including sometimes the big 5, up close in an open vehicle. Rest assured our guides are professional, experienced, and your safety is always first in mind.
Muweti is a small, intimate lodge, started in 2010 by Mike & Laura Joseph. We pride ourselves on our level of commitment to our guests, as well as on the overall quality of the bush experience. Many of our guests have said that they come as guests and leave as friends.
